Herbal Hair Oil

Most of us remember sitting on the floor while someone at home oiled our hair. This oil is for that same Sunday champi.

Families used to make hair oil at home by simmering herbs in oil in a kadhai and straining it. This bottle saves you that work. You can see the exact herbs and oils that go into it in the Ingredients tab.

How to use it

• Warm a little oil by keeping the bottle in a bowl of hot water for a few minutes.
• Part your hair in sections and apply to the scalp with your fingertips.
• Massage slowly in small circles for five to ten minutes, then run the rest down the lengths.
• Leave it on for two or three hours, or overnight with an old towel on the pillow, and wash with a mild shampoo.

Once or twice a week is how most people use it. The smell is herbal and earthy rather than perfumed.

Good to know

• Some herbs settle at the bottom over time. Give the bottle a shake before use.
• In cold weather the oil can thicken a little. Warming it as above will fix that.
• Try a small patch on the scalp first if you have a sensitive scalp.
• For external use only. Keep away from the eyes.
• If the whole family oils their hair, the pack of 2 will last longer between orders.

Follow the directions on the pack. Before first use, do a patch test on a small area of skin and wait 24 hours. Stop using it if you notice any irritation.

Keep closed, away from direct sun and heat, and out of reach of children. Use by the date printed on the pack.
